Arch Enemy

Capitalising on the band’s recent success and current tour with Cradle of Filth, Century Media has released a new between-albums disc from Arch Enemy. Featuring a song off the latest full-length Anthems of Rebellion (serving as the title track), two covers (Megadeth and Manowar), three live cuts, and a video, the EP is good fun but basically filler. The live performances captured do the band justice, but the cover versions demonstrate more dedication to the metal cause than any brilliance of interpretation. The high-production video for "We Will Rise” carries the most weight, potentially serving double duty as a rallying cry for the masses and a zombies’ call to war.
