André 3000's post-Outkast output has been sporadic to say the least, but the rapper has just given fans an unexpected treat in the form of two new songs. "Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)" and "Look Ma No Hands" were uploaded to SoundCloud for Mother's Day.

Neither song sounds remotely like hip-hop. "Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)" is a wistful ballad full of crooning vocals and bittersweet nostalgia. André sings and plays bass clarinet, while Kevin Kendrick handles piano.

"Look Ma No Hands" is even more exploratory, as it's a 17-minute instrumental jazz jam with André on bass clarinet and James Blake on piano.

André shared handwritten credits for both songs — plus lyrics for "Me&My (To Bury Your Parents" — on his newly launched Instagram. He wrote that this is "Mother's Day Music," and he even shared screengrabs of his final text message conversation with his late mother. The above image, which serves as the cover artwork, presumably shows a young André with his mother.

Listen to the tunes below, and check out the credits (and text messages) below.
