Last month, Toronto welcomed Alexisonfire back with open arms, and this summer, the band are due to play their only remaining Southern Ontario tour dates in support of forthcoming new album Otherness at their own Born & Raised music festival in their hometown of St. Catharines from June 30 to July 3.

To sweeten the deal, the band — and Dallas Green's City and Colour — have also announced their plan to play their respective debut albums front-to-back during two nights of the festival. Green's Sometimes will headline night one (June 30) and Alexisonfire's self-titled debut will be performed on July 3.

As previously reported, they'll be joined by a roster of Canadian alternative all-stars, including Billy Talent, Broken Social Scene, PUP, Sam Roberts Band, Elliott, Hot Water Music, cleopatrick, Ruby Waters, Chastity, Dooms Children, NOBRO and the OBGMs.

"Something special happens when Alexisonfire gets together," AOF frontman George Pettit said in a release. "When we're all on stage playing in the pocket, we elevate and the audience comes with us. Born & Raised is going to be a beautiful spectacle. City and Colour and AOF are returning to the very streets that created us, joined by a slew of great bands. Can't wait."

Tickets for Born & Raised are already on sale via Ticketmaster, and each ticket sold counts $1 toward the Indspire Building Brighter Futures Scholarship program through the City and Colour Indigenous Student Bursary and the Alexisonfire Indigenous Music Bursary.
