Great Scott! Marty McFly and Doc Brown — a.k.a. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd — reunited on stage at the New York Comic Con this weekend (October 8) to speak on a panel about the legacy of Back to the Future.

The pair's reunion was met with delight from the crowd, who were reportedly moved to tears as the 1985 blockbuster co-stars entered the NYCC stage and embraced, before fielding questions from fans.

Fox praised his co-star as "the king of exposition" and called him "brilliantly entertaining," adding that he felt he had to "watch [his] ass" while filming because "this guy will blow me off the screen."

Lloyd told the audience, "I didn't know Michael other than hearing about him. And I felt that I had barely made it through the six weeks," reflecting on filming with original Marty McFly actor Eric Stoltz, "and now I was going to have to do it again?" Thankfully, it all worked out: "There was immediate chemistry, as they say."

On October 21, 2015, Fox and Lloyd reunited on Jimmy Kimmel Live to celebrate the date that Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to in Back to the Future
