The Weeknd has given fans the first preview of the music from his upcoming HBO show, The Idol.
Toronto's golden boy took to Instagram today to post the sneak peek, which features an orchestra playing gorgeous, soaring strings as the Weeknd and producer Mike Dean get front-row seats from behind the board. He captioned the post, "THE IDOL VOL. 1 💿 coming soon (double fantasy & jealous guy just a taste)."
The preview is the first time the Weeknd has posted about The Idol since he responded to reports of the show devolving into torture porn amid the abrupt departure of the show's original director. Despite the controversy, the show is still set to arrive on HBO this summer.
