After first working together on the beloved 2003 Oscar winner Lost in Translation, Sofia Coppola and Bill Murray are reuniting for a new film.
The feature is called On the Rocks, and it's described as a father-daughter comedy drama. What's more, the film will mark the first project to come under the partnership of A24 and Apple, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
On the Rocks is said to star Murray as playboy dad who reconnects with his daughter, played by Rashida Jones, in New York. At this point, though, few other details about the project have been revealed, including when it might arrive.
Coppola previously worked with A24 for her 2013 film The Bling Ring. The director also last worked with Bill Murray in 2015 for the Netflix holiday special A Very Murray Christmas.
As previously reported, Apple signed a multiyear deal with A24 back in November. A24 is responsible for such acclaimed films as Moonlight, Eighth Grade and Hereditary, just to name a few.
