That's one way to escape the wrath of Ye

Pete Davidson is going to space. As previously rumoured, the SNL comedian/Kim Kardashian's boyfriend now officially has a ticket to board Jeff Bezos's (dong-shaped) Blue Origin rocket and will take off into the unknown next week.

He'll make the suborbital flight on March 23 alongside a six-person crew, including Party America CEO Marty Allen, University of North Carolina professor Jim Kitchen and Commercial Space Technologies president Dr. George Nield, among others.

The 13-minute trek marks the fourth human flight for Bezos's New Shepard program, and the 20th overall. Previously, Bezos offered up tickets to William Shatner and Michael Strahan (who made their flights last year), as well as Tom Hanks and Ashton Kutcher, who passed up their rides.

Davidson has had his fair share of drama on Earth in recent weeks, finally going head-to-head with his girlfriend's ex-husband, Kanye West, over the weekend. "I've decided I'm not gonna let you treat us like this anymore and I'm done being quiet," Davidson reportedly told Ye via text message, responding to weeks of verbal and artistic depictions of abuse aimed toward him.

Other than his sparring with Ye, Davidson has stayed relatively hidden from the public eye amid all his recent high-profile developments. With all the hoopla happening this side of the stratosphere, who could blame a fella for taking a quick celestial jaunt to take his mind off things for a few minutes?
