Closing in on two years since Netflix aired the second season of The Umbrella Academy, Season 3 has now been confirmed to return this summer, with the seven adopted sibling superheroes making their way back to small screens on June 22.

Picking up directly where Season 2 left off, the 10-episode return will find the time-hopping siblings reunited in a strange new world after saving humanity from the apocalypse.

A synopsis reads as follows:

After putting a stop to 1963's doomsday, the Umbrella Academy return home to the present, convinced they prevented the initial apocalypse and fixed this godforsaken timeline once and for all. But after a brief moment of celebration, they realize things aren't exactly (okay, not at all) how they left them. Enter the Sparrow Academy.

Season 3 will see the return of series stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Emmy Raver-Lampman and Justin H. Min, as well as Colm Feore, Ritu Arya, Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Jake Epstein, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David and recent Euphoria breakout star, Javon "Wanna" Walton.
