This is apparently within his particular set of skills

A generation of girls were raised to believe that never, under any circumstances, should you split a cab with a stranger after flying into Paris. In dark basements at sleepovers, Taken has been radicalizing us among friends since 2008 — and making it hard to believe that even the best father figures would be able to come to our rescue like Liam Neeson's character does in the film.

The tense phone call scene from the movie has likewise been memed into oblivion for over a decade, and apparently we're still doing it! Neeson and his particular set of skills were in attendance at Madison Square Garden last week when the Ottawa Sentaors bested the home team 3–2.

At one point, the clip of his character Bryan Mills on the phone with the trafficker who kidnaps his daughter (played by Maggie Grace) — telling the criminal that he will find him, and he will kill him — was played on the jumbotron, which then panned to live footage of the actor sitting in the audience and gravely holding a phone to his ear.

The brief reenactment was met with a smattering of applause, after which Neeson smiled and mouthed, "Go Rangers!"

His particular skills were unable to help the hockey team find a win against Ottawa.

See the clip of Neeson's recreation below.
