Liam Neeson on Reviving His 'Star Wars' Character for Disney+: "Sure, I'd Be Up for That, Yeah"

Disney+ is currently working on 10 new Star Wars projects (11 if you count the Boba Fett miniseries), meaning just about everyone has been called back to work in a galaxy far, far away. Among them is not Liam Neeson, however, who has strangely not been asked to reprise his role in the forthcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

As previously reported, prequel star Ewan McGregor will reprise his role as Kenobi in the forthcoming series, and Hayden Christensen is coming back too. But as of now, Neeson's Qui-Gon Jinn character has not yet been called back into action.

When asked about rumours that he was returning, Neeson said to Collider, "I'll be honest with you: I haven't heard that at all."

Then, when asked if he'd be willing to return to the series, he gave a decidedly chill answer: "Sure, I'd be up for that, yeah."

Obi-Wan Kenobi will take place 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith.
