Drake's preoccupation with UK culture manifested itself musically on his latest project More Life, and now the rapper is set to entrench himself even deeper within it with a role in English drama Top Boy.
The Daily Mirror reports that Drake had bought the rights to the show after it was dropped by UK broadcaster Channel 4 last year. Actor Ashley Walters, who plays the character Dushane, told the publication that the show's producers are creating a "significant role" for the rapper.
"We met up to start talking about the show and we are working out a role for him," Walters revealed. "He loves acting, of course he wanted a part. He's going to be really hands on and is getting stuck into it."
The Daily Mirror adds that fans can expect the third series of Top Boy to arrive on Netflix in 2018. Drake's pal Skepta is also expected to star.
