Earlier this summer, Euphoria star Angus Cloud died at his home in Oakland at age 25. His cause of death has now been revealed to be an accidental drug overdose, according to a report released by the Alameda County Coroner's Bureau.
The actor suffered from acute intoxication after he ingested a fatal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and benzodiazepine on July 31 [via TMZ].
When police and fire department responded, his mother Lisa had reported a "possible overdose," since her son didn't have a pulse. She denied that Cloud was suicidal, but the family had been coping with the loss of their patriarch, who died of cancer a couple months prior.
Cloud played the beloved character of Fezco on HBO's hit teen drama after being scouted while working at a restaurant. It was his first major acting credit, with additional filmography including the 2021 dramedy North Hollywood and several music videos. Before his death, he had recently completed shooting a film called Freaky Tales and was reportedly attached to a Universal monster movie.
