Let's get this party started: Season 3 of Starz cult comedy Party Down is set to premiere on February 24.
The second season of the series ended back in 2010, but whisperings of its return began circulating in early 2021. By the end of that year, the news was confirmed — and nearly every original cast member was said to be returning, including Jane Lynch, Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Megan Mullally, Martin Starr and Ryan Hansen. (Lizzy Caplan, who played Casey Klein, was unable to partake due to scheduling conflicts.)
Now, over a year later, the proof is in the pudding. Starz has shared the first trailer for the show, which sees those perpetually down-on-their-luck Los Angeles catering waiters — as Scott's Henry Pollard puts it, "This is not how I envisioned my 40s" — return to the screen. We're re-introduced to the party van, which has now been adorned with some tasteful bright green dick graffiti. There are also some new faces for the new era: Jennifer Garner, Tyrel Jackson Williams and Zoë Chao.
Further, the trailer glimpses guest appearances from James Marsden, Quinta Brunson and Judy Reyes, while Bobby Moynihan, Liv Hewson, Fran Kranz, Ki Hong Lee, Lyric Lewis, Dan Bakkedahl and Calum Worthy have also been confirmed to appear.
