Before blasting off on a world tour in August, Kid Cudi has announced plans to reflect on his career to date with a pair of digital releases.

On Twitter today, Cudi shared release dates for the long-awaited streaming arrival of his debut mixtape, 2008's A Kid Named Cudi, and the first instalment of a new greatest hits collection dubbed The Boy Who Flew to the Moon.

A Kid Named Cudi marked the artist's first official release, and featured early hit "Day 'n' Nite." Following the mixtape's release, Cudi would sign with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music, and would make "Day 'n' Nite" the lead single of his debut studio album, 2009's Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Of course, that relationship has since come back to Earth.

Cudi had previously teased the mixtape's streaming arrival in March. The Boy Who Flew to the Moon Vol. 1 will mark his first compilation release.

Kid Cudi's most recent album remains 2020's Man on the Moon III: The Chosen, and last year, he teased the possibility of following up with two new albums in 2022. On his aforementioned North American tour behind the LP, he'll be supported by Don Toliver, Strick, Denzel Curry and 070 Shake on select dates.

In September, Cudi will deliver new Netflix series Entergalactic alongside an album of the same name. The series stars Timothée Chalamet, Jaden Smith, Macaulay Culkin and more.
