Yesterday’s Ring

While not performing in the Sainte Catherines, a good chunk of the Montreal punk band throw on some country hats and play their on bastardised version of alt-country. The band have a new album coming up, and they focused on unreleased material, only playing a couple of tracks from their previous albums. Nevertheless, vocalist Hugo Mudie and the rest of the band charmed their way through the set, which showcased their more sensitive side all the while keeping their rough-around-the-edges appeal.
