Winnipeg Folk Fest Unveils 2018 Lineup with Sheryl Crow, Bahamas, Courtney Barnett

Further proving festival season is coming up fast, Winnipeg Folk Festival has now revealed its 2018 lineup.

This year the fest takes place on July 5 to 8 at Winnipeg's Birds Hill Provincial Park, and a pile of notable acts will be performing. Leading the pack this year are Sheryl Crow, Bahamas, Courtney Barnett, the Strumbellas, Elle King, Passenger, John Butler Trio, Natalie MacMaster and A Tribe Called Red.

"It truly is a banner year for programming at the Winnipeg Folk Fest with a great variety of headliners and emerging artists from across musical genres," said Chris Frayer, artistic director of the Winnipeg Folk Festival, in a statement. "We're thrilled to celebrate our 45th edition by doing what we do best, sharing spectacular music with our audience."
