Though Wiley's new Godfather LP didn't arrive this month as planned, the grime vet has given listeners a taste of what's to come from the release with a new video for "U Were Always."
Directed by Ceon Broughton, the video sees Wiley team up with fellow MCs Skepta and Belly (the UK MC, not the Canadian one), and the three wax poetic about relationships gone bad at the bar, in the booth and in the street.
Pushed back from its original target date in November, Wiley's Godfather will now arrive on January 13 through CTA Records. Watch the video for "U Were Always" in the player below.
