Wilco Expand 'Summerteeth' for Massive New Reissue

The deluxe edition features unreleased songs, outtakes and more

Wilco's Summerteeth turned 20 last year, and the band have now announced plans to give their third studio album an expanded deluxe reissue.

The expanded set is due to arrive November 4 in 5-LP and 4-CD editions. Each will feature the original 1999 album with remastered audio by Bob Ludwig, alongside unreleased demos, alternate versions and outtakes.

While the CD set will include a live recording of a 1999 concert in Colorado, the vinyl edition will include a previously unreleased live in-store performance at Tower Records on March 11, 1999, just two days after the album was released.

Both Summerteeth reissues feature reimagined cover art from original art director Lawrence Azerrad, while liner notes written by MOJO editor John Mulvey contain new interviews with original band members Jeff Tweedy and John Stirratt.

The deluxe reissues of Summerteeth are available for pre-order. Tweedy is due to release a new book this October.
