Wet Leg's Sophomore Album Is Complete

The Isle of Wight band's second release is "in the bag"

After pulling off total domination of the music industry over the last year, with a string of viral singles, the release of their debut self-titled album and a world tour underway, Isle of Wight indie rock duo Wet Leg are continuing their winning streak by revealing that their sophomore album is finished.

"It's in the bag," Hester Chambers revealed in conversation with Ben Burrell of Absolute Radio at their hometown Isle of Wight Festival. Vocalist Rhian Teasdale added: "Completed it, all done."

The pair go on to joke that their follow-up to this year's Wet Leg will take a genre turn: "death metal," "a lot of double kick" and "a few more things," the pair said. They're keeping mum on further details for now, with Teasdale sharing that "you'll have to wait and see." Thankfully, their album-of-the-year contender should tide us over for quite a while.

Elsewhere, they also chat about Harry Styles (who just covered their "Wet Dream"), Sheryl Crow and lots more while giggling through the awkwardness of the interview.
