"Weird Al" Yankovic and Lil Yachty Are Finally on an Album Together

Looks like we'll have to give the 'Captain Underpants' soundtrack a proper listen

Ahead of his Teenage Emotions debut, Lil Yachty is set to explore some teenage storytelling with a spot on the Captain Underpants soundtrack. While they're not on any tracks together, Yachty will be joined by likeminded musical outsider "Weird Al" Yankovic.

Dubbed Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, the film is an animated adaptation of the popular youth novel series. Weird Al has provided its theme song, which you can stream below.

Lil Yachty's contribution is a tune called "Oh Yeah," which is exactly what we said when we saw he was appearing on an album with Weird Al. Please let this be the start of a beautiful friendship between these two.

The Captain Underpants soundtrack also includes appearances from Adam Lambert, Andy Grammer and Nathan Willett of the Cold War Kids. Voice actors Kevin Hart, Thomas Middleditch and Ed Helms are credited for a track called "Hallelujah," which we hope to God isn't another terrible Leonard Cohen cover.

Check out the tracklisting for the Captain Underpants soundtrack below. The movie is set to open on June 2.
