Weezer, who are still objectively good despite sucking, are about to release their second LP of 2021 on May 7 with Van Weezer. The album was heavily promoted before quarantine, but then pushed aside for OK Human. Now they've shared another single from the upcoming release, and it lives up to the title perfectly.
"I Need Some of That" is a delightful radio rock jam that perfectly splits the difference between Weezer and some of Van Halen's more shimmery pop ballads, getting close to an "Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love" territory. It's a song that's honestly impossible to hate if you are willing to listen.
