Though it’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything new from them, the band was well received by the largely student age audience. The Winnipeg foursome delivered a set of up-tempo, straight-ahead songs, including tracks from their popular Reconstruction Site. There’s no doubt of the players’ chops, though a certain homogeny creeps into their sound by mid-set. Fortunately, new material was promisingly varied — an instant classic called "Sun In An Empty Room,” with soaring harmonies and an epic, thunderous ‘70s rock quality, may be the best thing they’ve done to date.
