Though its been awhile since weve heard anything new from them, the band was well received by the largely student age audience. The Winnipeg foursome delivered a set of up-tempo, straight-ahead songs, including tracks from their popular Reconstruction Site. Theres no doubt of the players chops, though a certain homogeny creeps into their sound by mid-set. Fortunately, new material was promisingly varied an instant classic called "Sun In An Empty Room, with soaring harmonies and an epic, thunderous 70s rock quality, may be the best thing theyve done to date.
