While we wait patiently for some post-Rush music-making between Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, the guitarist has popped up with another new musical collaborator in the Doors' Robby Krieger.
Classic Rock points out that Lifeson and Krieger shared a California stage earlier this week (October 24) to cover Santana staple "Evil Ways," a performance you can take in via some fan-shot footage below.
The two axemen performed as part of a benefit show in Westlake Village, CA, for Krieger's late friend and sports artist Scotty Medlock, who passed away aged 53 last year following a battle with cancer.
Lately, Lee and Lifeson have performed together at tribute shows for the late Taylor Hawkins, and a celebration of South Park.
Earlier this year, Lifeson made his debut with new band Envy of None, which also features Coney Hatch vocalist/bassist Andy Curran, Alfio Annibalini and Maiah Wynne.
