The third instalment of Neil Young's "Fireside Sessions" video series was delayed after the filmmaker, Young's wife Daryl Hannah, fell ill, but it's here now and most definitely worth the wait. Not only does it feature heartfelt performances of some of Young's most beloved songs, but it features plenty of show-stealing appearances by his adorable dog.
As with the first and second instalments, "Fireside Sessions III" is approximately 30 minutes long and features Young performing solo renditions of songs from his back catalogue in various locations on his property in Colorado, including inside his house and outside by the fire pit.
His dog appears in several of the musical performances, including On the Beach highlight "See the Sky About to Rain" and Pearl Jam collab "Throw Your Hatred Down," as well as in the now-customary water commercial.
Non-canine-related highlights include "New Mama," Buffalo Springfield's "I Am the Child" and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's classic "Helpless."
