As their drum head so truthfully reads, "PUP THE BAND ISS COOL & GOOD" — and they were both of those things when joined by Jeff Rosenstock on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night (May 11).
The pop-punk institution made their return to Meyers' show to perform "Waiting" from THE UNRAVELING OF PUPTHEBAND.
Before joining the Gaslight Anthem on tour this fall, Rosenstock stepped in to sing NOBRO vocalist Kathryn McCaughey's part and also squawked up a storm on his saxophone during the song's chaotic instrumental break — all while donning a PUP T-Shirt. Notably, bandleader Stefan Babcock opted for a Shania Twain UP!-era number, additionally reflective of the air he caught while bouncing around onstage.
