Watch Feist Bring "Love Who We Are Meant To" to 'Kimmel'

The latest in her 'Multitudes' (of) American TV appearances

Sometimes we do, in fact, get to love seeing Feist perform the heart-rending "Love Who We Are Meant To" on American late-night TV. Following her February appearance on The Bachelor and playing "Hiding Out in the Open" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October, the other Jimmy finally caught wind and invited the singer-songwriter onto last night's (June 5) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

The striking track from 2023's Multitudes gets a somewhat similar treatment to the incredibly special multimedia-style show Feist toured while she was working on the project, with a page of her handwritten lyrics for "Love Who We Are Meant To" appearing behind her during the performance. Well, it's presumably her handwriting, anyway. Whomever it belongs to, it's really nice!

As is the particular brand of warmth that Feist brings to the stage, multiplying in tranquil layers as her image does during the extended acoustic guitar breakdown. You can bask in the nylon-stringed glow below.
