Via lineup changes and a fresh batch of tunes, Charlottetown indie rockers Two Hours Traffic have evolved for their impending Foolish Blood LP. They'll rep their new direction mighty hard too, having just announced a massive North American tour schedule.
A press release reveals that just after the album's February 19 release through Bumstead and a hometown show on February 22, Two Hours Traffic will head from the Maritimes down towards Austin, TX's SXSW festival. They'll be joined on most dates by Regina's Rah Rah. Following SXSW, the bands head back to Canadian soil and play a few weeks of shows that have them running between Ontario and the West Coast. You can see the details down below.
As previously reported, Two Hours Traffic tracked Foolish Blood with producer Darryl Neudorf (the New Pornographers, Neko Case, the Sadies) at his Operation Northwoods studio in rural Ontario, and it features guest appearances from Arkells keyboardist Dan Griffin and pedal steel player Dale Murray. You can sample album track "Last Star" beneath the dates.
