Toronto's Red Bull Music Festival Gets Alice Glass, dvsn, Lil Berete for Inaugural Edition

Tanya Tagaq, the Sorority, Keita Juma, Maylee Todd and more will also perform

After announcing the lineup for their inaugural Montreal fest last month, organizers behind Red Bull Music Festival have now shared details behind their first-ever Toronto event.

Highlights include OVO R&B duo dvsn reinterpreting their songs with members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra on October 19 at Roy Thompson Hall, while Alice Glass will team up with director Floria Sigismondi to transform a 19th century fermenting cellar for production dubbed "The Doll House."

Elsewhere, local monthly live jam Practice will co-produce improv showcase "Round Robin," bringing artists together for a night of live improvisation on October 18. Artists set to take part include Tanya Tagaq, Skratch Bastid, Maylee Todd, Keita Juma, TiKA, Melody McKiver, Sarah Thawer and more.

A collection of rising Toronto MCs will take over Ossington Tire on October 25, with that bill featuring Lil Berete, Yasmine, the Sorority, Ebhoni and Pilla B.

The fest will also feature a conversation with Grammy-winning production vet Scott Storch at CBC's Glenn Gould Studio on October 22, moderated by Cadence Weapon.

Toronto's Red Bull Music Festival will run from October 17 to 25. Further festival lineup and ticketing details can be found through the event's official website.
