Having recently wrapped a tour of Spain, Tommy Stinson is now set to play three dates in Canada this weekend.
The Replacements bassist will begin his short December run this evening in Montreal, performing as part of "Montreal Calling," a celebration of the Clash's iconic album London Calling that also features Alejandro Escovedo, Howard Bilerman, Arcade Fire's Tim Kingsbury, Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade, Operators) and more.
Stinson will then play Toronto's Bovine Sex Club on December 7 alongside Chuck Coles (Creepshow, Organ Thieves), Chicago's Dashdown and Stuck Out Here's Cam Laurie. From there, Stinson will take the stage at Hamilton's This Ain't Hollywood the following night (December 8), performing alongside Killboys and DJ Gunner.
