Toronto, ON rapper Theology 3 (Theo3) has caused a bit of a stir recently in the underground with his numerous YouTube freestyles and collaborations with other Toronto talent such as DJ Serious and Muneshine. On his latest EP, Featuring…No Features, Theo3 spits no-frills bars over a respectable bag of beats supplied by domestic producers like Tone Mason and DJ Alibi. Lead single "Make It Big," produced by DJ Alibi, has been getting steady spins over in NYC, and "How I Flow Part 1" showcases Theo3's confident flow and nimble rhymes over a throwback beat that just as easily would have worked for Rexdale rap icon Infinite. Toronto has never been short of talent in the hip-hop department, but one listen to Theo3's latest will explain why the city is known as "the screwface capital." Torontonians should have the right to be sceptical of outside talent when they have such dope artists as Theo3 right in their backyard.
