Fans haven't much in the way of new material from Toronto's Theology 3 so far in 2014, but that's now changed with the arrival of an EP called Payin' Hommage.
The title of this four-song set — which includes a slightly unusual alternative spelling of "homage" — seemingly implies that this is a covers EP, but that isn't the case. Rather, these are original raps, with laid-back, old-school sounding beats. "White Trash" highlights the racial tension that has been bubbling over (particularly south of the border), while "Things Rappers Are Most Scared About" is a brief rundown of hip-hop phobias (including a cappellas, innovation and more).
