The Weeknd's trash HBO drama The Idol ended this weekend (July 2), a week earlier than initially expected, and the artist marked the show's merciful end by releasing a few new songs from the show.
The latest tracks from the soundtrack are "Like a God" (featuring Lil Baby and Suzanna Son), "False Idols" and "Dollhouse" (featuring Lily-Rose Depp).
The Idol has now given listeners well over a dozen new tracks, mostly credited to the Weeknd (including a cover of John Lennon's "Jealous Guy"). They have been released as weekly EPs, and there hasn't yet been a full soundtrack album.
Hear the songs below. There have been reports about The Idol getting cancelled after its widely panned first season, but HBO has denied these claims, and the future of the show remains up in the air.
