The Moldy Peaches — a.k.a. Kimya Dawson and Adam Green — are set to reunite for their first live performance in over a decade at the Los Angeles premiere of indie sleaze-heavy early 2000s New York music scene documentary Meet Me in the Bathroom, based on Lizzy Goodman's book of the same title.

The anti-folk heroes, who haven't performed together since 2011, are scheduled to take the stage at the Fonda Theatre on October 27. Evening programming also includes a screening of the film and a discussion between Goodman, directors Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, and moderator Tim Heidecker.

Further, the band will also play the Seattle premiere of the doc on November 13 for Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF). An additional premiere will take place at New York's Webster Hall on October 30, where Green will perform alongside Wah Together — Phil Mossman (original member of LCD Soundsystem), Vito Roccoforte (The Rapture), Steve Schiltz (Longwave) and Jaiko Suzuki (Electroputas) — and participate in a Q&A.

Dawson posted about the reunion show news on Instagram, writing, "Psyched that the last two shows I play before I join the half century club will be with @averagecabbage at the Los Angeles and Seattle premieres for the documentary Meet Me in the Bathroom."

She added: "I was feeling nervous and self conscious about how I'm so broken and uncool these days but then I remembered I was always broken and uncool. Some of the songs we are going to play are 28 years old. Our songs are older than I ever thought I'd be."
