They've been around for nearly two decades, but Ian Parton's experimental UK group the Go! Team have yet to run out of ideas. The band sounded entirely reinvigorated on 2015's The Scene Between, and they'll soon follow it up with their fifth LP.
The next release is called Semicircle and will arrive on January 19 via Memphis Industries. According to a press release, the album was inspired by "the idea of a school marching band gone rogue, chucking away their sheet music to blast out Northern soul stompers or Japanese indie-pop swooners or old-school hip-hop jams."
The band have previewed the release with the fittingly titled "Semicircle Song," which you can stream below. They've also got a series of tour dates in the works, including a Vancouver show.
