Any time of year, you can find the Sphere. This fall, however, you'll also find the Eagles there: the band have announced a four-weekend residency at the high-tech Las Vegas venue that recently unbanned that bong-ripping Phish fan.
A month after Dead and Company finish their own Sphere tenure, the Eagles will welcome themselves on September 20 and 21 for the first of four Friday and Saturday concerts — the last of which are set to take place on October 18 and 19.
The Eagles are the fourth band to play the venue, which U2 opened last fall. The current lineup of Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, are still amid a farewell tour aptly titled the Long Goodbye, which is set to continue into 2025.
Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday (June 21), with an artist presale beginning tomorrow (June 14). You can sign up for access here.
