She announced the record from the stage at the Grammys

Taylor Swift won't be releasing her stranglehold on pop culture anytime soon, as the star has announced yet another new album. The Tortured Poets Department is out April 19.

Swift announced the album on stage last night (February 4) at the Grammy Awards during her acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights. She revealed the title and release date, as well as an album cover that looks very much like a self-published romance novella on Wattpad.

The album has 16 tracks, plus a bonus track called "The Manuscript." Beyond that, there's no further information available about the album. It's available for preorder on CD, vinyl or cassette from her website.

The Tortured Poets Department is Swift's first album of new material since 2022's Midnights — but, since then, she's also released two of her (Taylor's Version) re-recordings (for Speak Now and 1989), plus the concert film for The Eras Tour.
