We know of what he speaks though, kinda, but the intense focus in his face, the care he puts into his crystalline melodies and fragile harmonies with comrade Amy Millan speak louder than his words. Montreals masters of 80s-inspired romantic pop may have lacked the spiky rock panache of WSC and Metric, but their luscious wedding of guitars, keyboards and airtight vocals thoroughly charmed the crowd, faggots and all.
