After issuing the Blud EP earlier this year through Chvrches' Goodbye Records, teenage artist SOAK (a.k.a. Bridie Monds-Watson) has announced a new 7-inch release via new label home Rough Trade Records. Ahead of the record's November 3 street date, she's streaming a calming track called "B a noBody."
The early a.m. arrangement features flinger-flicking acoustic guitar work, an open field of piano and glockenspiels and a light splash of cymbals. Watson, meanwhile, delivers softly shushing vocals conjuring up intimate imagery and identity-defining moments, proposing to "risk it all for an inch of fun."
The stream below is a radio edit of the track, with the full-fledged version set to appear on the 7-inch.
