The years of touring the East coast culminated in one of the most well received sets of the week for the Boston three-piece. Not that one had to tell those packed onto the Attic dance floor, as the Slip played a set of sprawling, folk-tinged rock that relied on a bank of peddles to create atmosphere, underlining the emotional lyrics of Brad Barr. Capping things off with an encore cover of Elvis Costellos "Peace, Love and Understanding, Barr crowd-surfed midway through, not missing a single note in what had to be the most rocknroll moment of the HPX.
