Sebastien Tellier Rewrites His Childhood with 'L'Aventura'

Sexy Frenchman Sebastien Tellier doesn't dick around between albums. Following 2012's My God Is Blue, the artist quickly returned with Confection last November. Half a year later, he'll release yet another new album.

The release is called L'Aventura and was recorded between Paris and Rio de Janeiro throughout 2013. The Rio recordings were completed with Carioca music cult figure Arthur Verocai, while the Parisian sessions took place in various studios alongside Jean-Michel Jarre and Philippe Zdar.

According to Tellier, L'Aventura sees the artist searching for a childlike spirit. "For this album I wanted to rewrite my childhood," he said in a statement. "I chose to locate this adventure in Brazil, a land of splendour and joy, a country with an eternal child-like soul."

L'Aventura will be available on July 14 via Record Makers. A brief taste of the song "L'Adulte" is available below.
