Following last year's My God Is Blue, French songwriter Sebastien Tellier isn't wasting time in following it up, since he's released a video for the song "L'amour naissant" from his upcoming album Confection.
The track sets moody piano against densely pattering drums and overlays it with cinematic orchestral flourishes and Tellier's romantic croon. The accompanying video is a black and white affair, and we see a priest and a woman approaching one another on a beach and, frustratingly, never seeming to get any closer. It was directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
Confection is out on November 8 worldwide through Record Makers. It's available to pre-order here.
