Winnipeg's Sam Singer has shared a video for new single "I Want You Blue" and announced an upcoming EP called From the Hills, Beaten Roads, Down to the Trees, arriving May 27.
"I Want You Blue" is Singer's first piece of new music since releasing the one-off single "No Scar" in January. His last full-length was 2019's Don't Mistake Me for a Lovebird.
The Micah Erenberg-produced single is another taste of the warmly rendered, shambolic folk-rock that Singer trades in, and it comes attached to a dreamy summertime haze of a video directed by Kevin Tabachnick.
