Last year, we revealed that lovable British indie pop troupe Saint Etienne were planning deluxe reissues of all of their albums. At the time, Good Humor (1998) and Tales From Turnpike House (2005) were scheduled for "early 2010." Now, we're nearing the end of 2010 and those albums are yet to be found.
Fortunately, the reissues will become available before the end of the year. As Pitchfork reports, both Good Humor and Tales From Turnpike House will be getting a deluxe double-CD reissue on October 25 via Heavenly/Universal. Each set comes with the original album on one disc with a batch of B-sides on the other, many of which are previously unreleased. The albums will also include expanded liner notes.
While this brings closure to Saint Etienne's album reissues, they're also planning to release Casino Classics, a compilation of remixes, early next year.
