After returning to television earlier this year with Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and with the Community movie on the horizon, Donald Glover will soon make time for music with his last two albums as Childish Gambino.

Following a guest appearance alongside Tyler, the Creator at Coachella on Saturday (April 13), Glover signalled that an Instagram Live broadcast the following evening would mark the beginning of an album rollout.

Last night, Glover's broadcast featured snippets of new music and a confirmation that his 2020 project 3.15.20 would be amended and re-released as Atavista, with a slightly altered tracklist and proper song titles.

"We're releasing Atavista, but after that, there's the final Childish Gambino album — a soundtrack for the fans," Glover revealed [via Uproxx]. That soundtrack, for an upcoming film from the artist, is titled Bando Stone & The New World. A radio ad for the soundtrack played during the broadcast points to a release this summer via RCA Records.

Last year, Kaytranada shared that Childish Gambino will feature on his forthcoming new album.
