With their North American tour well underway — and Canadian dates still to come — the unbeatable duo of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have returned with their first new material since 2021 sophomore team-up, Raise the Roof.
A live staple for Krauss and Plant, their rendition of "When the Levee Breaks" is now available on streaming. It features guitarist JD McPherson, drummer Jay Bellerose, bassist Dennis Crouch, string player Stuart Duncan and multi-instrumentalist Viktor Krauss of the pair's live band.
That ensemble is due to visit Edmonton Folk Festival on August 11, ahead of a pair of Vancouver shows on August 13 and 14. Until then, check out "When the Levee Breaks" below.
