Rhye won a lot of fans with the duo's debut album, and even with producer Robin Hannibal MIA on this current tour, singer Milosh more than held his own for the group's Massey Hall debut. His five-piece backing band, which included strings, bass, keys and drums, took the stage one by one until Milosh, wearing a loose fitting sweater, finally appeared and took the mic. On record, his androgynous falsetto is impressive. In person, it's a feat to behold.

Hitting every note, the band moved through tracks from Woman, with the syncopated piano intro to "The Fall" winning raves from the crowd. With such a small pool of songs to choose from, the group stretched out on instrumental passages, with Milosh cueing the group from centre stage. These jams never felt extraneous, but rather a product of a group of well-honed musicians enjoying themselves on stage in front of a downright awestruck crowd.
