Reveille

Laced

Goateed hair farmers from Massachusetts doing the metal rap thing. It grew on me after a few listens and is a cut above the majority of what’s being done by these kinds of bands nowadays. The Helmet-influenced guitar style works well and the singer sounds a lot better when he’s screaming. One track, titled “Judas,” sounds has an intro that could have been done by Fugazi. Another, “Splitt (Comin’ Out Swingin’)” features B-Real of Cypress Hill, and could wind up on the Judgement Night 2 soundtrack.
