If the recent reunions from the Grapes of Wrath, the Lowest of the Low and Doughboys proved anything, it's that Canadians still have an appetite for Canuck rock from decades past. Right on cue, previously defunct alt-rockers Headstones have announced a handful of North American tour dates.
The Kingston, ON-based group have five shows booked for December, four of them in Canada. In addition to playing gigs in their home province, plus one across the border in New York, they're planning a trip to the West Coast to perform in Vancouver. Hopefully this means they'll play some more dates along the way, but nothing is currently scheduled.
Headstones reunited earlier this year, having disbanded in 2003. They achieved success in the late '80s and throughout the '90s, releasing albums through MCA and BMG, and scoring Juno nominations. Back in August, they released the new single "Binthiswayforyears." Scroll past the tour dates to listen.
