Propagandhi Set Sights on New LP

Despite some serious threats from a sect of homophobic neo-Nazis, Propagandhi's tour to Australia went off without a hitch and the band have returned home to Winnipeg. Rather than take the summer off, however, it looks as if the legendary political punk band are planning to return to the studio and record their next album.

A recent update on the Propagandhi website finds bassist Todd Kowalski confirming that they are planning on some new material this year. "Now we get on to the excitement of preparing to record our next record," he wrote. "We hope to record in September."

For now, that's all we know but there's no denying that these veteran punks have an unflinching work ethic, so we won't be surprised if a new album surfaces early next year. Propagandhi last released Supporting Caste in 2009.

In other recent Propagandhi news, the band are set to appear in a new documentary about the Earth Liberation Front.
