If you told us a year ago that the once-reclusive Prince would be teaming up with Zooey Deschanel, we would have never believed you. But here we are in 2014, and the Purple One has now shared a duet with the TV/indie rock star.
The track is "FALLINLOVE2NITE," and in many ways, it's Prince's best attempt of chanelling the Pet Shop Boys (as strange as that may sound). Packing some pretty club-ready atmospheres, there's plenty of brass, four-on-the-floor beats and a hooky synth line. It's not exactly what you'd expect from classic Prince, but we'll take it all the same.
Of course, the track follows Prince's appearance earlier this year on Deschanel's sitcom New Girl, where an edit of "FALLINLOVE2NITE" first appeared.
